Fused Glass Creations

Lots of fabulous glass work now fired and looking beautiful! All this can be created in one day, a coaster, a slump dish, a star, two pieces of dichroic glass jewellery and a decoupage jewellery box. And we still have time for lunch and a glass of wine!
More Fused Glass workshops coming in the new year under my new business name Crafts in the Valley! Workshops will take place at the lovely Creative with Nature studio in Todmorden.

Fused Glass Workshop

A busy day on the craft boat making fused glass stars, coasters, slump dishes, dichroic glass jewellery and decoupage jewellery boxes.

A fab group of women, lots laughs, lovely conversation, creativity, relaxation and a yummy lunch with wine at the Olive Branch.

Better fire the kiln up!

I have one space left on my next fused glass workshop on Sunday 18th September.

Glass Fusing Workshops with Crafts Afloat

Beginners Fused Glass workshops with Crafts Afloat.

Glass Fusing is the magical process of joining and melting glass together in a kiln at high temperatures.  Different types of glass and glass powders (frits) can be used to make beautiful jewellery, dishes, bowls, light catchers and decorations. Beware, it is very addictive!  You can experiment with some of these techniques on the craft boat.

Come aboard the craft boat and create a selection of beautiful glass items. During the workshop you will make a coaster, a slump dish, a star and a beautiful set of dichroic glass jewellery with a decoupage jewellery box.

Competition Time! Win a set of dichroic glass jewellery.

Competition Time!!!
Two years ago I moved the Crafty Snail studio from Sheffield to Hebden Bridge. It took six days to complete the journey and we went up and down a lot of locks. It was a fantastic journey and the craft boat chug, chugged its way happily to the quirky, creative town of Hebden Bridge.
So…..How many locks did we travel through?
Like and share my Facebookpage and the competition post with your answer.
Prize- A beautiful set of dichroic glass jewellery in a hand decoupage box made by me, with lots of love and sparkle!
Good luck xxx
