Festive Fused Glass 2026. It is the season to sparkle!
NEW for 2026! Magical Winter Glasscapes: Half Day Workshop – £75
NEW for this festive season! Join the Magical Winter Glasscapes workshop and discover exciting new techniques using beautiful Bullseye glass materials.
In this workshop, you will have the opportunity to work with stunning Bullseye streaky glass and other glass accessories to create a multi-layered landscape. Build up your glassscape using a selection of coloured frits, metal inclusions, intricate millefiori, dichroic glass, and unique, studio-made glass wafers.
This layered approach to glasswork produces truly magical results, with depth, detail, texture, shimmer and sparkle. It is a chance to experiment with different materials and techniques previously not used in my other classes, making it a great class for returning guests who want to experiment with new materials and techniques. No glass cutting is involved in this workshop
This workshop is ideal for those who want to create a special piece of decorative glass that can be brought out every Christmas, or be on display throughout the year.
As an extra festive treat, you can also make a robin pendant or a glass star.
What will I make?
- A decorative glasscape (10cm x 14cm)
- A robin pendant or a glass decoration.
What is included?
- All glass materials and kiln firing.
- A wooden display stand.
- Festive sweet treats, mulled wine, teas and real coffee.
I offer these workshops to individuals and private groups, they are designed for art and craft lovers, beginners or experienced crafters, and for those who simply want to enjoy a creative day out. The workshops have proved popular with mothers and daughters, couples, families and friends who wish to spend some quality creative time together. Lots of participants come on their own and enjoy meeting friendly, new people.
The workshops are run from my light and airy studio on Thornber Business Park in the rural setting of Cragg Vale, Mytholmroyd, the neighbouring town to Hebden Bridge in Calderdale, West Yorkshire. The Calder Valley is a great place to visit or to stay for the weekend. Hebden Bridge is a quirky town filled with independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. It is well known for its exciting art, craft and alternative music scene. It is also a great place if you enjoy nature, walking and exploring the countryside.
