Festive Taster Workshop – Make a Winter Bird and a Dichroic Glass Pendant with Decoupage Box
Adults – £28 Children (8y.o+) £24
Crafts in the Valley offers a range of Fused Glass and Textile Workshops at a lovely spacious studio in Cragg Vale, Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire.
In the Festive Taster workshop you will have the opportunity to experience the magic of fused glass at an affordable price. You will make a fused glass bird, a dichroic glass pendant and a decoupage jewellery box. There will be festive sweet treats, mince pies, cups of tea, fresh coffee and hot chocolate!
Once decorated your glasswork will be fired in the kiln and packaged up for you to collect 1-2 weeks later. In the studio you will have access to an exciting range of top quality materials and equipment; coloured frit powders, jewels, stringers, dichroic glass, millefiori, stencils and more!
This workshop is ideal for those who fancy a fun creative experience where you will be introduced to the wonderful world of glass. This workshop is very suitable for beginners and creative children 8+ (if accompanied by a participating adult).
I offer these workshops to individuals and private groups, they are designed for art and craft lovers, beginners or experienced crafters, and for those who simply want to enjoy a creative day out. The workshops have proved popular with mothers and daughters, couples, families and friends who wish to spend some quality creative time together. Lots of participants come on their own and enjoying meeting friendly, new people. I host hen dos, crafty parties, retirement parties and family and friend gatherings.
The workshops are run from my light and airy studio in the rural setting of Cragg Vale, Mytholmroyd, the neighbouring town to Hebden Bridge in the Calder Valley. The Calder Valley is a great place to visit or make a weekend of it if you are travelling far. Hebden Bridge is a quirky town filled with independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. It is well known for its exciting art, craft and alternative music scene. It is also a great place if you enjoy nature, walking and exploring the countryside.
